A couple of years ago, we were looking for something nice to put on our walls that was a little different and not some run-of-the-mill print from a large swedish furniture chain or a gallery where it cost so much that it required us to sell a kidney.

It was a real struggle.

The only alternative were silk screen prints, which limited the designs that could be produced (which is why our prints are all giclee) and also had a tendancy to be rolled by clumsy gorillas and rammed in to a tiny tube, leaving them creased by the time they arrived (which is why we use 3" diameter tubes). Then trying to flatten them followed by a mission over a couple of weekends to go and get them framed.

There had to be a better way.

And that's how we came to start Unherd – a site with prints that are a little different and that are digitally printed to ensure the best quality possible without breaking the bank.
